Support for Counsellors

I’m currently undertaking Clinical Supervision Training and am able to offer monthly supervision free from charge to counsellors whether you are experienced, newly qualified or in training.

I believe supervision offers a space away from your client work for you to reflect, learn and receive support.  I therefore put emphasis on creating a trusting and non-judgemental space in which you, as a supervisee, are invited to bring all parts of yourself and your work into our sessions.

Having been in private practice since 2012 and also having set up and managed a couple of counselling agencies, I am genuinely committed to encouraging your development as a therapist.  I therefore provide time and space for a collaborative exploration and reflection of your work whilst calmly and compassionately supporting you to address any struggles or challenges you may have.  This is balanced alongside helping you to identify, acknowledge and celebrate your successes so that you feel fully and wholly supported in the work that you do.

I use the Integrated Developmental Model along with the 7-Eyed Model of supervision to guide my practice.  However, I believe our relationship to be the most important aspect of our work together and in creating, developing and maintaining a trusting, open and honest collaboration, we can ensure that supervision fully supports you in your work as a counsellor – in a way that works for you.

Being a supervisor in training, I am happy to offer supervision sessions free of charge whilst I’m working towards my qualification (due to end in June 2026). In return, we would ideally meet for 1.5 hours a month (although this can be negotiated), either in person at my office in Street, Somerset or, alternatively, online via Zoom.  This may be ideal if you are thinking of changing your supervisor, setting up in practice or you would welcome some additional support without adding to your expenses.

Please feel free to contact me to set up a mutually convenient day and time to meet in the first instance to see if we are a match to work together.
